Arc of Hope has worked since 2008 to help Fr. Simon Peter Kyambadde build Saint Joan of Arc Uganda.

As enrollment grows, more classroom space, dormitories and teachers’ quarters are needed.

What we’ve built together

Completion of the new boys’ dormitory

A major infrastructure milestone was the successful completion of the new boys’ dormitory, providing modern, comfortable accommodations to boarders.

This project has enhanced safety, reduced overcrowding, and boosted enrollment in the boarding section, contributing to the 6.3% growth in boarders this year.

Standard public address system

We received a high-quality public address system to strengthen communication for school assemblies, announcements, and events like the Inter-House Music, Dance, and Drama competition. This upgrade ensures clear communication across our growing campus, fostering better engagement and efficiency.

New school bus

This was the greatest news from our director. Funded by donations from the 2025 event, the new bus brought students to school in February 2026, transforming student transportation with safer, more reliable trips for educational outings, sports competitions, and daily travel to and from school. We believe it will open more opportunities for students and experiential learning.

Ongoing projects

Your sponsorship continues to drive essential infrastructure that addresses our growing needs. Projects in progress include:

New girls’ dormitory

This facility is nearing completion and will accommodate up to 120 girls, promoting gender equity in boarding options and providing a safe, modern space for rest and study. Once finished, it will further support our efforts to increase female enrollment and retention.
