Uganda’s National Caritas Week celebrations were hosted by St.Joan of Arc’s local diocese, Mityana, from March 20-25, 2018.  All 19 dioceses of Uganda were represented by delegates.  The climax was on Palm Sunday when the chief guest and main celebrant was the Archbishop of Kampala His Grace Dr. Cyprian Kizito Lwanga accompanied by the Mityana Bishop Joseph Antony Zziwa.

The SJA Band was invited to Mityana to lead the march through the town to the Cathedral! The band also led Palm Sunday worshippers into meditation as they waited for the bishops to arrive!  The SJA Band was so impressive…young kids from the bush playing beautiful melodies!
